Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient-centered care using the Nursing Process in the Emergency Room (ER).
  • Assess patient needs and implement appropriate education strategies for patients and families.
  • Communicate, delegate, and collaborate effectively within the ED interdisciplinary team.
  • Manage nursing resources while serving as a leader and partner in the Emergency Department.
  • Use clinical data and evidence-based practice to evaluate care and promote optimal outcomes.
  • Support patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and excellence in emergency nursing practice.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of Louisiana.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association).
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity Emergency Room / Emergency Department (ER/ED) setting.
  • Emergency Department or ER experience is preferred.
