Compensation: $50.00 - $60.00 / hour

Description

Alliance Orthopedics is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Operating Room (OR) Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional perioperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety, maintaining a sterile surgical environment, and collaborating closely with orthopedic and pain management surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff throughout the surgical process.

The ideal candidate is an organized and compassionate Registered Nurse with operating room experience, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient outcomes in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Determines data collection based on the patient's condition or needs as related to the proposed interventions
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility as job priorities change.
  • Work is accurate and complete
  • Demonstrates knowledge and follows AORN standards
  • Maintains licenses and certifications.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Assumes responsibility for continuing education requirements
  • Circulate cases such as Orthopedic, Spine, Vascular Procedures and Pain Management.

Requirements:
  • Active RN license in New Jersey
  • Current CLS & PALS Certification
  • CNOR (preferred)
  • 1-2 years of operating room experience with orthopedic procedures
