How you'll contribute

A CNA who excels in this role: 

  • Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN or LPN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements and recording intake and output.

  • Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation. 

  • Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff. 

  • Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly. 

  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. 

  • Provides quality patient care; works flexible shifts or units as needed

  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for 

  • High School diploma preferred

  • Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Arizona required

  • BLS certification required

  • Handle with Care certification preferred 

  • Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hard/arm movements.

  • Comfortable with regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
