Position Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough patient evaluations, conducting physical examinations and reviewing comprehensive medical histories
  • Assist in interpreting imaging and laboratory results to aid in diagnosing surgical issues
  • Work closely with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical care plans for each patient
  • Provide critical support in the operating room, preparing the surgical space, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during procedures
  • Offer exceptional care before and after surgery, which includes managing medications, wound care, discharge instructions, and patient education
Qualifications
  • Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
  • Experience with clinical rotations that emphasize surgical procedures is strongly preferred
Certifications Needed
  • Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
