Job description

Principal Duties:

  • Receive instructions for the day and load the proper quantity and type of emulsion
  • Deliver emulsion to project site and shoot emulsion as required. Must take precautions to prevent property damage.
  • Calculate area to be sprayed, ratio of tack coat to water, gallons per square foot, and starting/ending emulsion to water inventories.
  • Record keeping of materials used.
  • At the end of the workday, clean and prep truck for the next day.
  • Checks truck assigned daily by completing required CDL checklists.
  • Follow DOT, OSHA, GP safety, and project site regulations and policies

Principal Requirements:

  1. Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 30lbs.
  2. Ability to read, write and complete equipment reports.
  3. CDL (Commercial Drivers License) Type (A)(B)(X) Endorsement required, Favorable Driver History Record required.
  4. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  5. Minimum 3 years' experience operating CDL vehicle required.
  6. Paving experience preferred.
