Opentext Focus System AnalystIntroduction:

A Systems Analyst develops applications, implements software packages, integrates applications, and provides 24x7 application support. This position collaborates on all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) with a focus on application design, development, and implementation phases while utilizing appropriate development tools and technologies in line with the IT architecture.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex software development projects
  • Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Partners to develop software specifications
  • Lead selection and implementation of software packages requiring in-depth configuration and integration
  • Integrate applications with complex interfaces based on provided specifications
  • Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for niche, core, or mission-critical applications
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and release schedules
  • Support the request and analysis phases of SDLC by producing required documentation and estimates
  • Execute the design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC
  • Participate on an Application Development and Support team
  • Function as Technical Lead on projects and oversee technical staff
  • Mentor and direct junior staff
  • Develop and drive standard practices within the team
Requirements:Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent discipline
  • Ten years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development
  • Expert knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with OpenText Archiving and Doc Access for SAP, OpenText Archive Center, OpenText Content Server, OpenText Capture Center, OpenText Enterprise Scan, OpenText Web Viewer, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management for SAP, Intelligent Capture Center, OpenText Directory Services
Preferred Skills:
  • Twelve years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development
  • C# Programming to the OpenText API
  • Development experience in Opentext Exstream
