Your skills and experience, You have:
• Advanced networking skills including knowledge and understanding of IP routing, firewalls, VLANs, NAT, DNS, VPNs, networking protocols, WiFi and cellular connectivity.
• Hands on experience and knowledge of major networking products and vendors (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Nokia, etc).
• Hands-on experience with different types of virtualization methods (VMware, KVM, OpenStack, K8s).
• Experience with cloud-based compute, storage and network platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Linux (RedHat/Ubuntu) - installation, configuration, and administration.
• Advanced skills in automation with IaC (Terraform).
• Openness to learn and become an expert in new relevant topics.
PREFERABLE QUALIFICAITON / SKILL SETS / EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with managing containers with Kubernetes.
• Scripting (shell, bash) and programming (Python).
Education
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from a leading college/university.?
Professional networking certification(s) (e.g. CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, Linux certifications)
Candidate Must have the following experience and be able to speak in detail during technical interview:

JOB RESPONSBILITIES
  • Design and implement an architecture to enable networked drones (WiFi or cellular) , edge servers and cloud platforms to communicate, efficiently transfer and process data.
  • Make recommendations regarding network and server equipment to improve product architecture and performance in deployments.
  • Work directly with customers to securely integrate AIMS into different local networking environments.
  • Implement security best practices and configure network firewalls appropriately to protect against threats. Perceived risks and mitigations are documented.
  • Ensure all network and servers are monitored to achieve required levels of uptime and performance.
    Provide local system administration support to AIMS team.
    Document the architecture, operational process and configurations.
    Administer and maintain cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
