Job description

GENERAL DUTIES:
The Open Rank position will provide clinical expertise in patient care and an appropriate teaching environment for fellows, residents and students in the specialty of Surgical Oncology. Highly specialized surgeon who uses computer-assisted robotic platforms to perform precise, minimally invasive operations to diagnose, stage, and remove gastrointestinal tumors. Will integrate his/her research and programmatic efforts into an existing and robust gastrointestinal surgery program.
The position is part of a strategic departmental initiative to establish a competitive robotic platform within a major freestanding cancer center - a minimally invasive and nationally renowned position. The open rank professor will provide a robust gastrointestinal surgery program.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
