Job description

Radiologic Technologist (X ray) – Full Time

Location: Central Virginia Region Setting: Mobile/Outpatient Imaging (TridentCare) Schedule: Varied schedule; other shifts may be available upon inquiry.

About the Role

This Radiologic Technologist role supports mobile and outpatient imaging services across the Central Virginia region. You’ll perform high quality diagnostic radiographic exams in diverse patient settings, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compassionate care while working independently in the field. With multiple openings, this team is expanding to meet growing regional demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures following established protocols

  • Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety

  • Travel to patient locations within the service area using company provided equipment

  • Document exams, patient history, and imaging details in the EMR

  • Maintain equipment, vehicle readiness, and supply inventory

  • Provide patient centered care in homes, facilities, and outpatient environments

  • Follow all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines

Requirements
  • ARRT (R) certification

  • Virginia state license required (or willing to obtain)

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Previous mobile, outpatient, or hospital imaging experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently in a field based environment

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
