About Randolph County Eye Care
With practice roots dating back to the 1960s, Randolph County Eye Care is a well-respected business serving the residents and families in Elkins County and surrounding communities. Patients can expect a complete eye care experience through an expert team of professionals, advanced technology, and high-quality products. In addition to routine eye care, the practice specializes in diagnosing and managing medical eye conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and co-management of cataracts. The practice also offers contact lens services and fittings for specialty contact lenses. To help support ongoing practice growth, Randolph County Eye Care is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of eight staff members.
The practice ensures optimal eye health through the industry's most advanced technology and utilizes state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology including, Wide Angle Fundus Camera, OCT, AdaptDX Pro Dark Adaptation, Visual Fields (Humphrey, FDT), Ocular Response Analyzer (NCT), and iCare Tonometer. The Opticians work closely with the patients to help select proper frames for cosmetic, lifestyle, and vision needs-plus, an on-site lens lab is available to serve customers conveniently.
About the Optometrist Opening
Randolph County Eye Care is seeking an Optometrist dedicated to a career of helping individuals see to their fullest while providing exceptional patient care. You'll practice full-scope optometry, treat and manage ocular diseases, educate patients about ocular health, determine treatment plans and recommend vision-enhancing products. You'll have the opportunity to fully utilize your optometry skills and care for special populations and a large patient base requiring medical optometry-you'll care for 15 to 20 patients daily. The position is part-time or full-time; the practice is closed on weekends.
Randolph County Eye Care is looking for a thoughtful, purpose-driven Optometrist interested in beginning a career that will arc toward long-term professional fulfillment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-staffed, growth-oriented, and profitable practice as it transitions to a new generation of Optometrists. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. Minimum qualifications include:
