Job description

A&W is seeking an early riser for an opening line cook position who can multi task in a fast-paced environment. This successful candidate will be responsible for setting the pace for the day. We are looking for someone that is a planner and super organized. They will ensure that the kitchen is set up and rush ready to delight our time crunch guests.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Preparing menu items to A&W recipes
  • Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning requirements
  • Work with a team of cooks to prep work for other shifts when needed
  • Monitor product freshness and rotate stock (first in, first out)
  • Follow all food safety standards 
  • Filtering fryers
  • Ensuring that we have enough prep for the day
  • Self motivated
  • Recieving stock
