Job description

  • You will work collaboratively with software application and engineering teams to deploy and operate our systems
  • You will work collaboratively with business partners with strong focus on business outcomes
  • You will use your Cloud experience
  • You will build the whole stack from ELBs to databases
  • You will automate and streamline operations and processes
  • You will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments
  • You will embrace, promote, and support frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • You will participate in on-going learning
Requirements
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience designing and executing deployments with little to no outage window as well as demonstrated experience building, deploying, and configuring full application stacks (Java Spring)
  • Coding or scripting proficiency
  • Demonstrated re-engineering experience
  • Communicating and collaborating with others, especially across functional border
  • Preferred - Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
  • Experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus)
  • Experience using a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
  • Experience creating repeatable deployment templates or similar to build services that support our various software applications
