Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter's primary responsibility is to support hiring managers in the AK Division and our LLCs by identifying and recruiting qualified candidates to fill vacant positions. This role utilizes a variety of sourcing strategies to identify active and passive candidates, build talent pipelines, and support current and future hiring needs.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability to perform technical interviews at a fundamental level.ย 
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings).
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.
  • Effective time-management abilities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail orientation and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Commitment to developing solid relationships with candidates to create a pipeline of candidates.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, SharePoint, and iCIMS.
  • Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates.
  • Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum four (4) or more years of sourcing and recruiting professionals
  • Minimum five (5) or more years with hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Recruiting experience with the following skillsets. Cyber and Cyber defensive operations, data management, Intelligence, and counterintelligence analysis and support. IT Operations and management, Logistics support, administrative support, help desk support, and training.
  • Experience with full lifecycle recruiting, including assisting in developing job descriptions, sourcing, prescreening, submitting, interview set up, offer negotiation, and hiring candidates.
  • Experience recruiting for cleared professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
  • Previous government contracting experience
  • Experience with iCIMS.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $90,000 annually.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search). Source and recruit candidates for multiple skillsets and use various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search) and demonstrated ability to handle the high recruiting volume.
  • Attend local job events in Juneau to support recruitment for the AK Division.
  • Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks.
  • Promote our employer brand online and offline.
  • Maintain candidate databases (e.g., via our Applicant Tracking System).
  • Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities via the icims CRM.
  • The full lifecycle recruiting process for open requisitions includes sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, evaluation, and offers.
  • Create unique ways to source candidates, including internet sourcing, social networking, driving employee referrals, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships throughout the client business groups and within HR .
  • Strive to provide each applicant with a highly positive candidate experience regardless of the outcome.ย 
  • Build and maintain a healthy talent pipeline for various LLCs.ย 
  • Develop search strategies and build target lists of the top talent.ย
