This position will be permanently based in Toledo, OH in 2027 – Need to relocate Your Mission
  • Champion Safety Culture: Promote and uphold safety standards across all activities.
  • Design & Implement Solutions: Develop cutting‑edge supply‑chain and packaging strategies for major industrial projects.
  • Drive Excellence in Planning: Provide accurate inputs and quotations during the exploratory phases to set projects up for success.
Key Responsibilities

Exploratory Phase (AVP):

  • Define optimal supply‑chain organization, resources, and processes to ensure Safety, Quality, and Customer Service while minimizing costs and inventory.
  • Calculate project budgets (cost per part, investments, etc.) and ensure quotations align with standard equipment and processes.
  • Identify and elevate industrial risks early.

Project Development Phase:

  • Apply global standards (POMS & Supply‑Chain guidelines).
  • Design and optimize physical and information flows from suppliers to customers, collaborating closely with manufacturing teams.
  • Determine stock levels and lead‑time strategies for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop functional specifications for packaging solutions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and production constraints.
  • Oversee packaging trials, fine‑tuning, and customer approvals.
  • Contribute to information system design and layout planning for inbound/outbound flows and storage areas.
  • Analyze impacts of scope changes on resources, costs, and packaging types.
  • Support supplier selection with technical validation and participate in audits and FMEA.
  • Provide hands‑on support during production start‑up and ramp‑up phases.
