BNC Autocare in Santa Rosa, CA is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Writer to join our team! Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs
  • Write detailed repair orders and communicate vehicle issues clearly to technicians
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and obtain customer approvals before work begins
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process
  • Follow up with customers on vehicle status, delays, and completed services
  • Upsell recommended maintenance services and additional repairs as needed
  • Coordinate workflow between service advisors, technicians, and parts department
  • Process invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate service records
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in automotive customer service
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance terminology
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume shop environment
