Contracts Writer
*This is a remote position.
*Local to the Raleigh, NC area only, please.
Description:
  • This position ensures that the client’s process to execute MOUs. MOAs. vendor contracts. and other agreements is well organized and efficient.
  • They will work closely with business leads and partners to draft MOUs, MOAs, vendor contracts, and other agreements.
  • The client’s contracts writer will proactively coordinate with their legal privacy, security, finance, and procurement teams to ensure that all required information is provided issues are addressed and agreements satisfy the respective teams requirements.
  • The contracts writer will develop and maintain an organized repository of all agreements and related documentation and collaborate with business leads to ensure programs and services are in alignment with related agreements.
     
Skills:
  • Extensive experience drafting and executing MOUs, MOAs, vendor contracts, and other agreements, Required 7 Years
  • Familiarity with legal, privacy and security, finance, and procurement processes, preferably in the health IT sector, Required 5 Years
  • Extensive experience maintaining organized document repositories in SharePoint, Required 5 Years
  • Familiarity with health IT programs and services, preferably related to interoperability and health information exchange, Required 5 Years
  • Familiarity with the administration of Medicaid Advance Planning Documents and other federal funding processes, Required 3 Years
