Rate of Pay: $150.00 per day | Long-Term Rate: $175.00 per day

SUMMARY
Performs the regular teacher's class lesson plans and manages classroom activities while the teacher is absent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reports to the school principal or secretary upon arrival.
  • Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
  • Maintains the routines and procedures of the assigned school and classroom.
  • Assumes responsibility for instructing classes and fulfilling other duties during the teacher's absence.
  • Oversees student behavior and ensures a safe learning environment.
  • Maintains appropriate records for the absent teacher.
  • Follows all district and individual school policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain an Arizona Substitute Teaching Certificate.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP).
  • We will train the right candidate and support you in obtaining an Emergency Substitute Certificate.
