Position Level: N/A
Working Hours and/or Working Conditions: HOURS: To be determined. Work hours will be based on college work-study funding. Scheduled work hours may not conflict with class hours. Position terminates at end of semester or when award is exhausted. Hours may not exceed 30 per week.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently. Must be able to move chairs and tables.
Supervision: SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General direction and supervision from the Student Life & Leadership Assistant and Manager of Student Life & Leadership. SUPERVISION GIVEN: None.
Job Function
Assist the Student Activities Assistant with planning and implementing Campus and Diversity programs. Act as liaison for student clubs and organizations and plan community service projects. Plan and implement recreational games.

Job Responsibilities
-Plan and organize tournaments
-Decorate for planned events
-Post new fliers on campus bulletin boards
-Assist in planning programs and projects involving the campus and community
-Complete event and program evaluations
-Inventory and maintain graphic supplies and storeroom
-Promote and assist student clubs and organizations
-Maintain and update resource files
-Assist student groups with paperwork, forms and requests
-Keep records of student club programs and events
-Assist with Induction and Pinning ceremonies
-Take and maintain photographs of all events
-Maintain and secure radios
-Provide information for the student newsletter
-Maintain display case and bulletin boards, changing as needed
-Assist with passive programming and volunteer events
-Provide customer service to students
-Assist with event needs, including setting up rooms, furniture and audio visual equipment as assigned
-Provide recommendations on building and equipment repair
-Perform other duties as assigned
Education
High school graduate or GED equivalent. Some experience in planning and organizing programs and events. Experience with high school or work related organizations and community service programs preferred.
This position is not eligible for benefits.
