Job description

Prospective student teachers must complete an online application. 

Approval Process:

The application process begins with the submission of the online application.  Applicants must upload the following documents when completing the online application:
 

  1. A letter of request for placement from the university or college
  2. All applicable transcripts
  3. A personal data sheet or resume

 Candidates will be selected and names will be shared with the building principals and cooperating teachers.  You will be notified by the Curriculum and Instruction Department regarding your request for student teaching placement. 
Human Resources will contact applicants that are placed with the necessary paperwork that will need to be completed prior to when you start your student teaching assignment.
Student teachers who are accepted must complete the following before starting their student teaching in the district:
 




  1. Background Check Human Resources will provide direction on this.
  2. Physical completed within 60 days of your start date.
  3. Completion of all E-forms
