Registered Behavior Technician
Reports to: Clinical Coordinator, supported by BCBA; position is non-exempt
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental challenges. Your commitment to providing high-quality behavioral therapy will be instrumental in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; Bachelorโ€™s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with active certification or ability to obtain within 30-days
    • We offer the 40-hour RBT course online and training to earn the full RBT certification
  • Part-time availability (20-30 hours), primarily Monday - Friday and rotating Saturday mornings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of clients.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
As a registered behavior technician, your responsibilities will include:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, including positive reinforcement techniques and data collection.
  • Work one-on-one with clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as needed while following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of client behavior and progress.
  • Collaborate with families and other team members to provide consistent support and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Uphold the ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
