Job description

Summary
The RBT Facilitator is responsible for supporting the development of ABA Therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through coaching in clinical settings. This role remains actively engaged in direct patient sessions while modeling effective implementation of ABA strategies and providing behavior-specific feedback to support skill development and clinical growth. The RBT Facilitator plays a key role in preparing ABA Therapists for the RBT Competency Assessment, exam, and supporting ongoing skill development across the center. This individual partners closely with Virtual Trainers and clinical leadership to ensure coaching is consistent, effective, and aligned with clinical quality standards.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions

Direct Care & Coaching Integration
· Provides direct care while embedding frequent learning opportunities for the trainee throughout sessions. This is done by modeling and narrating effective implementation of ABA interventions and providing coaching that supports skill development of ABA Therapists and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in sessions.
New Hire Readiness and Certification Support
· Supports new hires in progressing through onboarding and preparing for the RBT competency assessment, and certification requirements within expected timelines.
Performance Observation, Feedback & Documentation
· Observes ABA Therapist and RBT performance and delivers timely, behavior-specific feedback to support skill development.
· Maintains accurate and timely documentation, including session notes, coaching/feedback records, and supervision tracking.
· Communicates progress and performance trends to Center Managers and BCBAs.
Ongoing Staff Development & Clinical Modeling
· Provides continuous coaching and modeling to support skill development and clinical performance, reinforcing best practices and promoting consistency in service delivery.
Collaboration with Leadership
· Partners with Clinic Managers and BCBAs to identify staff development needs, support performance improvement, and ensure alignment with clinical expectations.
· Collaborates with Virtual Trainers and RBT Training Coordinator to align on coaching expectations, implement feedback, and maintain consistency in training practices across centers.
Professional Standards & Continuous Learning
· Maintains current knowledge of ABA practices and demonstrates professionalism, strong clinical performance, and teamwork while supporting a culture of accountability and high-quality care.

· Active RBT credential required and at least 6 months of experience
· Demonstrates effective implementation of ABA strategies in clinical sessions
· Demonstrates the ability to coach others in behavior analytic skills, evident by prior training, presenting, and facilitation experience which includes presenting to large groups (preferred).
· Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and curriculum found to benefit children diagnosed with ASD, including but not limited to Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT), prompting and prompt fading strategies, error correction procedures, differential reinforcement, and Pivotal Response Training (PRT).
· Knowledge of android tablet systems and software used at Hopebridge, including but not limited to Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams), HB Charts, and ReThink.
Preferred Competencies, Education, and Experience
· College coursework in the field of behavior analysis, psychology, education, early education, or related field.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

No travel is expected for this position.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a clinical environment. Work may be stressful at times due to a busy clinic environment with patients. Prolonged loud noises may occur. Interaction with others is constant and interruptive.

This is a position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require lifting, carrying, running, walking, climbing, kneeling, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. May need to lift pediatric population at times (up to 50lbs).
