Description:

Spark Community is looking for a caring and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing ABA team!


As an RBT, you'll work directly with children to help them build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills. You'll provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA while celebrating progress and helping each child reach their individual goals.


What You'll Do:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavior plans developed by the BCBA
  • Teach and reinforce communication, social, and daily living skills
  • Collect and document data to track progress
  • Work closely with BCBAs and other members of the child's care team
  • Help create a positive, encouraging, and engaging environment for each child
  • Participate in training, supervision, and ongoing professional development

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required — copy must be provided
  • Must complete required RBT training and successfully meet all requirements to obtain RBT certification
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening
  • Must pass all required background and maltreatment checks
  • CPR certified or willing to become certified
  • Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working directly with children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and accurately collect and document data
  • Ability to actively engage with children throughout therapy sessions, including sitting, standing, and moving as needed
