As an online rater, your job is to search for terms and ads on the internet and rate them based on factors like how compelling they are and whether or not they are relevant to a search. In this role, you may evaluate websites, check ad performance on different search engines, look at the text, images, and other content in search results, and otherwise provide remote help and support for the company. Online raters may also perform other types of quality analysis for companies, such as evaluating internal assessments and screenings to determine whether or not those reports accurately represent the observed performance on a search engine. Employers often list this job under names like ads quality evaluator or quality analyst.
