The Server Cloud Foundation team is seeking an Infrastructure Platform Admin 2 (IPA2) to assist the virtualization and storage team with daily operations, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting.

About Us: 
Our on-premises environment is highly virtualized, featuring a well-developed Private Cloud and are actively expanding into Public Cloud. To support this transition, we will have a strong emphasis on adopting Infrastructure as Code (IaC). We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, solve challenges, and grow with us on this journey.
Role Responsibilities: 
As a Virtualization and Storage IPA2, you will:
   Provide entry-level expertise in IT infrastructure systems, including support tickets handling, server/storage automation coding, and scripting of manual tasks.
   Deliver support services to internal and external customers.
   Collaborate with IS colleagues, management, and staff in support of cross-workgroup operational support.
   Work closely with the Cloud Operations team to streamline private and public cloud deployments and support.
   Contribute technical solutions and operational support within a team of junior to intermediate staff.

Position Requirements: 
To be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate experience in:
   Supporting and delivering systems infrastructure services.
   Providing operational support and automating routine tasks.
   Enhancing our IaC environments to automate repeatable processes.
   Demonstrating effective organizational, documentation, and planning skills aligned with the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
   Maintaining a positive customer focused mindset that supports Service Management objectives.
   Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences at various levels within the organization.

Your qualifications will include:
   Some experience with:
   Virtualization of Server Infrastructure (Nutanix AHV / VMware ESXi is preferred).
   Storage and Data Protection (high-level understanding of core concepts).
   Automation and Scripting: Familiarity with Ansible, Python, PowerShell, and IaC tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
   System Administration: Windows Server or Linux (RHEL).
   Technical Documentation: Ability to analyze and document technical requirements and operational issues.
   ITIL Processes: Experience with incident, problem, and change management in an enterprise environment.
   Assets (nice to have): 
   Enterprise experience with SDLC, GitOps, networking, Citrix, and Unix/Linux in an enterprise setting.
