Job description

Job Title: Senior Transitions Specialist
Job Category: Team Representative (Part-Time)
Job Description: In this role, you are part of a team providing excellent customer service to Caring Transitions customers in Mill Creek, WA, and the surrounding areas. Within a customer's house, you would be responsible for sorting, organizing, taking photos for online auctions, boxing items for pick up and shipping, and other similar activities. This job offers a flexible schedule with a standard shift from 9am - 3:30pm (M-F).
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Greets clients with a smile, receives orders, processes payments and responds appropriately to customer issues
  • Operates cash register or point of sale devices as needed
  • Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
  • Communicates in a positive manner with clients, peers and Managers
  • Provides exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack/unpack and stage/resettle client household items
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High School diploma or equivalent training required
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Professional attitude and demeanor
  • Experience in the fields of general labor or warehouse helpful
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting, moving, climbing occasionally, transporting, placing and removing household items for staging, liquidation, donation and resettling
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to climb a flight of stairs inside or outside of a private residence
  • Walking and/or standing in varying weather environments both inside and outside the home in cold and heat with varying weather conditions
