Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst/Regional Content Manager excited to provide vital analysis in support of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency mission. The ideal candidate will perform Regional Content Management (RCM) and support to Combatant Commands and NGA Support Teams with dissemination of Source Foundation in Maps, Charts & Geodesy, commercial GEOINT, and commercial data. The candidate shall provide data and content analysis services as described below.
Required Skills and Education
12+ years of experience with performing Regional Content Management (RCM) support to:
  • Provide customer support with dissemination of Source Foundation GEOINT consisting of Maps, Charts & Geodesy, commercial GEOINT, and commercial data.
  • Provide on-site and virtual instructions to mission partners on how to use online commercial GEOINT, and commercial data dissemination services.
  • Advise customers on various methods for data delivery to include the use of digital or electronic transfer i.e., Enterprise File Delivery (EFD) System, and use of media (CDs, DVDs, Blue-Ray discs, hard drives, NAS units, etc.) and online self-service tools. Assess and document assigned content profile and associated workflows and storage and dissemination architecture. Provide recommendations on opportunities to improve the Combatant Command's profile.
  • Provide data dissemination support to include hard-drives, EFD, and other dissemination methods to support mission partner capabilities to receive, store and organize GEOINT data on local file servers.
  • Serve as a Data Transfer Officer transferring data between networked computer systems and approved removable media.
  • Perform management, data manipulation and analysis to assess integrity, identify patterns, and determine and correct shortfalls
  • Develop and document data management and dissemination workflows, and transfer data between multiple formats, and provide advanced data visualization.
  • Develop and apply methods to identify, collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data to build and enhance GEONT processes, and systems.
  • Work with ESRI Portal technology to develop and maintain map services, source governance documents including but not limited to Strategic Implementation Plan, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Communications Plan, and customer strategy.
