• Must have proven track record of excellent teacher evaluations, standardized final exam and student retention results.
• Medical Assistant courses require a degree, diploma, or certificate in the field taught from a post- secondary institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. DOE and two years' documented experience in the subject taught or three years of significant job-related, documented experience for those instructors without specific education in the field.

Certifications Required:

• Certification from a recognized certification agency in the field taught must be obtained within 120 days of first day teaching class at Dorsey Schools and maintained according to the certification agency guidelines.

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; and have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a phone, computer keyboard and other office equipment.
