Production Operator

Grand Haven, MI, 2nd shift, $19/Hour

Job Summary
Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating machinery, and being part of a team that produces high-quality products? Then come check this place out and make a change. We’re seeking a Production Operator to support the manufacturing process through equipment operation, material handling, and quality production practices in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Operator, not only will you be responsible for manufacturing powder coating products through preassembly, mixing, extrusion, and grinding, but you’ll also participate in quality and safety processes to ensure excellent results. This includes:
  • Weighing and preparing raw materials
  • Operating industrial production equipment including mixers, extruders, grinders, and mills
  • Cleaning machinery and maintaining work areas
  • Packaging finished products
  • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Rotating work assignments as needed
  • Following safety and quality procedures throughout the production process
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience required
  • Ability to become forklift certified
  • Successful completion of the employment selection process
