About The Role
The Experience Designer, Brand Interiors and Events will oversee the experiential and visual design of interiors, retail locations, and live activations, bringing The Realreal's creative vision to life three dimensionally. The perfect candidate has hands-on experience in interior design and events, with skills in site-specific creative development. They are equally adept at managing both large, long-term construction projects and fast-turn events. What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Lead the creation of cohesive, on-brand visual spaces extending from offices and retails spaces to internal and public-facing events
  • Participate in branding exercises, supporting in concept development and execution for all interior spaces
  • Develop creative vision for each retail location, source/select furniture, art, fixtures and accessories, and own communicating with the retail team so they can execute + implement (purchase and coordinate the delivery of each piece)
  • Develop unique retail environments that align with construction guidelines while incorporating thoughtful location-specific creative elements
  • Collaborate with retail team on interior refreshes for stores by providing selections of furniture, art, textiles and fixtures
  • Collaborate with brand visual team on photography maps for each retail opening
  • Work with facilities on construction, design refreshes, art and creative elements to elevate workspaces for office spaces.
  • Create event and experiential design guidelines, including elements such as flowers, food, settings, and displays
  • Develop visual language for internal spaces for public-facing events, including on-site speaker series
  • Collaborate with PR and Communications on visual execution of brand events
  • Manage multiple deadlines and priorities without excess oversight, taking the initiative to find answers and remove roadblocks to completion of work

What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in interior design at a firm, fashion retailer or lifestyle brand
  • Strong knowledge of design and fashion
  • Ability to flex design expertise for events
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Experience in executing design IRL working in both construction sites and populated office spaces
  • A passion for design and fashion, leaning into vintage sourcing
  • Ability to uphold brand visuals and values
  • Ability to travel 10%

The expected salary range for this role is $115,000.00-$130,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR's total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
