Attributes We Value
We hire successful builders with founder-like energy who want real impact, accelerated learning, and true ownership. You bring strong role-related expertise and sharp thinking, and you're motivated by our mission and operating principles. You move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles, balancing speed and rigor.
You're humble and collaborative; turn zero‑to‑one ideas into real products, and you "get stuff done" end-to-end. You use AI to work smarter and solve problems faster. Here, you'll tackle complex, high‑visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let's build what's next.
What you'll do
This is a career-defining opportunity to shape how Airwallex communicates the value of its products to businesses around the world. As Director of Content Marketing, you will own the end-to-end content strategy across all digital platforms, building a high-performing content engine that drives engagement, supports pipeline generation, and elevates Airwallex's brand in a competitive global fintech landscape. You will lead a team of content creators, editors, and strategists while partnering closely with growth marketing, product marketing, sales, SEO, design, and regional marketing teams to deliver compelling, on-brand content at scale. You will also play a key role in integrating AI tools into content workflows to increase efficiency and innovation across the content lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals, brand identity, and audience needs across multiple products (payments, business accounts, spend, billing) and global markets.
  • Lead the creation of content across various formats, including blogs, product guides, videos, case studies, whitepapers, ebooks, webinars, and social media, to support product launches, campaigns, and demand generation initiatives.
  • Lead, manage, and coach a team of content creators, editors, and strategists. Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment where creativity and innovation thrive.
  • Identify and integrate AI tools and technologies into content creation and distribution workflows to increase efficiency, creativity, and personalization.
  • Establish and refine content production processes to ensure the team can produce high-quality work quickly and efficiently. Implement best practices for content lifecycle management from ideation to publication and analysis.
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone, and optimized for search and user experience across all channels, including online, social media, email, mobile, video, and print.
  • Define content marketing success metrics and implement systems to track and analyze content performance, including contribution to pipeline and revenue. Use insights to inform future content strategies and optimizations.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and design teams to create a unified and effective content strategy. Partner with regional marketing leads to localize content strategy across key markets (Americas, EMEA, APAC, China).
  • Manage external design and content resources, including freelancers and agencies, to supplement in-house production capacity and maintain quality standards.

Who you are
Minimum qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in content creation, marketing, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in the fintech or technology sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies for tech products with a user-first approach.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging way.
  • Experience in coaching and team development, with a demonstrated ability to build and scale content teams.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and technologies relevant to content marketing and their integration into workflows.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content performance analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, with experience in producing content that engages and converts.
