Regent University's College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, Visiting Professor of Mathematics position. This position will be located at Regent University's Virginia Beach, VA campus.

Work Location: Virginia Beach, VA 

Salary: For Spring 2027 Semester Only $25,000 - $35,000

Regent University is one of the nation's leading academic centers for Christian thought and action, offering over 150 associate, bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees and enrolling more than 13,000 students worldwide. Qualifications: 

  • A PhD in Mathematics is preferred (master's with 18+ graduate hours in math may be considered)
  • Higher level math teaching experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and digital instructional tools

Essential Functions: 

  • Teaching on campus and online during the spring semester of 2027.
  • Deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences that integrate mathematical theory with ethical and spiritual responsibility.
    Totaling 12 hours.
  • Courses that could include:
    • College Algebra
    • Linear Algebra
    • Discrete Mathematics
    • Calculus II
  • Working with students during your office hours
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
