Work Environment

Working onsite at our outpatient office in beautiful Tampa, Florida, you'll be immersed in a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role offers a standard Monday through Friday schedule with a 40-hour work week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their condition and needs.
  • Creating individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient goals.
  • Employing a diverse range of therapeutic techniques and modalities to promote healing and recovery.
  • Maintaining responsibility for demonstrating excellent customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to maximize patient outcomes through coordinated care.
  • Providing education and training to patients and their caregivers regarding injury prevention, home exercise programs, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Meeting established utilization goals and contributing to the overall success of the practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, pediatric needs, and neurologic disorders. Your treatment approach will be tailored to address each patient's specific characteristics, helping them to achieve their functional goals and return to their active lives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • A doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualifications.
  • A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
  • Basic Life Support Certification recognized by the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.
  • The ability to establish meaningful relationships with patients and the desire to connect personally, contributing to their recovery and satisfaction.
  • A commitment to continually building relationships within the community.
Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, candidates with specialized training or fellowship in orthopedic physical therapy, as well as those with experience in outpatient settings, will be given preference. Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic techniques and modalities, along with a strong commitment to patient-centered care, will set you apart.

Compensation and Benefits
