As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Response in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving site needs. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring culture that puts people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization as required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
