Adecco is partnering with a respected organization in the DMV area seeking an experienced Electrical Instructor to help train and develop the next generation of electrical professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed electrical professional who enjoys mentoring others and sharing real-world industry knowledge in both classroom and hands-on lab environments.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver engaging instruction in electrical theory, code compliance, commercial, residential, and low-voltage systems.
  • Provide hands-on training in a laboratory setting while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Prepare lesson plans, administer quizzes and exams, and evaluate student progress.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and performance records.
  • Mentor and support apprentices throughout their educational journey.
  • Utilize classroom technology and virtual learning platforms to enhance instruction.
  • Participate in workforce development initiatives, student recruitment activities, and industry outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors and educational partners to ensure student success.
What We're Looking For
  • Completion of a state or federally approved electrical apprenticeship program.
  • Current Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
  • Strong background in electrical construction, supervision, inspection, or field leadership.
  • Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical theory, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
