Paraprofessional/Early Year Program

Location:ย  Red Clay Early Years Program, Location TBD
PRIMARY FUNCTION:ย 
Assist in carrying out the Individualized Education program for students
Duties will include:




  • Developmental instruction for preschool
  • Assist teachers in classroom activities and recording student data
  • Implement behavior support plans, participate in team meetings
  • Operation and data input on assistive technology devices
  • Collection of academic and behavioral data
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs., ability to bend, and kneel for positioning of students for mobility purposes, diapering, and physical education activities


Qualification
1. Completion of two years of higher education; or
2. Completion of an Associates Degree; or
3. High School Diploma/GED and ParaPro Assessment Test
