TheWiFi Technical Instructor'sprimaryrole is to conduct classroom, vehicle, and scenario-basedtraining.The instructor's responsibilities primarily include all aspects ofinstruction and the learning experience of students.Additionally,the instructor may also function concurrently as the programcoordinator or as a content-creator/curriculum-developer.Instructorswill collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and clients todesign, develop, deliver, evaluate, and modify courses.ETSInstructors will also provide on-going support to otherinstructors, as well as to students both past and present.Instructorsshould expect to provide a learning experience via online, hybrid,and traditional delivery methods.Instructorsshould have a general understanding of academic goals andpedagogy, as well as promote the awareness of new learningopportunities available to clients throughETS.Instructorscan expect to travel 25%-50% annually.
Requirements
  • 4+years military experience in anintelligence focusedMOS
  • 4+years of experience with basicComputer Operations,Computer Networking, 802.11, and Linux
  • Experiencewith WiFiCommercial-off-the-shelf and Open-Sourcetools
  • Minimumof one industry-standard computeror network certification(Network+, Security+, A+, Linux+)
  • Proficientwith the Windows 7/10 OS andMicrosoft Officeproducts
  • Proficientwith the Linux OS
  • Proficient with Kismet and Wireshark Kismet
  • Proficient with Aircrack Suite
  • Experiencepreparing and delivering classroom instruction
  • Excellentorganizational,interpersonal, written, and verbalcommunication skills for working in ateamenvironment
  • Abilityto rapidly learn how to use new software andequipment
  • Highschool diploma
  • Validdriver's license
  • ActiveTS Clearance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelorof Science degree inCyberSecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or aclosely related field
  • BasicInstructor Certification; TRADOC or equivalent BasicInstructor Training Course
  • Minimumof two (2) years of experience working tactical supportin a SOF environment
  • CurrentT&C operator for Mode 6
  • Mustbe able to work independently, take initiative and setpriorities with multiple projects
