Job Title PT NURSE TUTOR - ASSOCIATE DEGREE NURSING PROGRAM (Pool) Position Status Part Time Classification Title Part-Time Tutor-Up to 19 hpw Work Location Main Campus-3600 N Garfield St, Midland, TX 79705 Job Summary Tutors students in accordance with College policies and procedures. This position is for a Nurse Tutor. The tutor is responsible for leading one-on-one or small group lessons that cater to the identified needs and goals of the students. Tutor develops, organizes, and implements learning strategies for students enrolled in the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
Required Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing
Current Texas Registered Nurse License, without stipulations, or eligibility for licensure
Minimum of two years work experience as a registered nurse (RN)
Ability to communicate effectively with students and nursing faculty
Ability to tutor associate degree nursing students in a variety of topics, content, and competencies
Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities to accomplish positive results
