Employment Terms: This job is a full-time, benefited, FLSA Exempt/Professional position in the Education/Science Division at the Lawrenceville campus that reports to the Division Chair, Math and Science.
Salary - $64,480/yr
Minimum Qualifications (Job Code 10213):
Doctorate or Master's degree in discipline OR Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Any applicable certificates and/or training. Experience in teaching college-level Biology courses (especially Anatomy and Physiology I and II) in two-year colleges or degree-granting technical colleges. Two years prior work experience in the field. Experience in course and curriculum development, demonstrated flexibility with diverse student populations and learning styles; demonstrated experience with a variety of teaching strategies including the use of advanced instructional technologies. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with faculty, staff, students, and the community. Ability to teach in the classroom. Proficient in written and oral communication. Demonstrated occupational competency. Must be computer literate with the ability to use common software programs. Some experience with online instruction is a plus.

Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Requests and maintains supplies and equipment and prepares budget requests. Attends staff development training, workshops, seminars, and conferences. Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area. Meets with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues. Assists with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
