Job description

FORM SETUP TECHNICIAN | $22–$26/HR
A local concrete manufacturing facility in Wilsonville is hiring a Form Setup Technician to join their team! This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, adjusting, repairing, and setting up steel and wood concrete forms used in production. Ideal for someone with construction, carpentry, manufacturing, fabrication, or precast concrete experience. Overtime may be required based on production needs.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Adjust, assemble, and prepare steel forms for concrete production
  • Build, modify, and repair wood forms and related fixtures
  • Set up forms according to production drawings and specifications
  • Install, align, secure, and remove form components
  • Measure forms to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
  • Perform basic welding and cutting to repair or modify form components
  • Support form setup and changeovers throughout the production floor
  • Work with production teams to meet daily manufacturing goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements


Schedule Details:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Pay: $22–$26/hour depending on experience
  • Overtime may be required based on production demands


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Manufacturing, construction, precast concrete, fabrication, or related experience preferred
  • Basic carpentry skills and experience working with wood forms
  • Basic welding and metal fabrication skills
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
  • Experience using common hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow work instructions, blueprints, and production drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and reaching
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working around dust, noise, and varying temperatures
  • Must be able to safely operate tools and equipment while maintaining production pace
