Job description

Berkeley College is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated part-time instructors to teach Mathematics courses in the Division of General Education. Faculty must support Berkeley Collegeโ€™s vision of becoming the college of choice for students pursuing lifelong success in dynamic careers and for employers seeking graduates prepared to meet the demands of the global marketplace. Berkeley College has a diverse student population across multiple convenient locations in New York City and New Jersey and through Berkeley College Online.

Salary Range:ย  $3,105. - $3,375.ย  per course/semester.

Requirements for the position are:

  • Masterโ€™s degree or PhD in Mathematics or Mathematics Education.
  • Demonstrated success in teaching Mathematics at an institution of higher education.
  • Demonstrated success in both onsite and online course design and teaching.
  • Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas.
  • Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning.
  • Superb skills with student engagement and with online/onsite learning environment administration and management.

For Onsite and Hybrid Sections:

  • A willingness to travel and teach at multiple campuses across NY and NJ, if applicable.
  • Availability to teach classes during the day, the evening and/or the weekend.
