Job description

Job Title: Dispensary Drivetender – PART TIME | Reports to: Delivery Manager | Location: 3790 S Nova Rd, Port Orange, FL 32129

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • You are expected to arrive 30 minutes prior to the departure time set by dispatch per the message received for scheduling
  • Review patient orders and documentation prior to departure to guarantee a successful delivery day. Assure all manifests, orders and receipts match
  • Exchange any missing or incorrect items with the inventory specialist on site prior to departure
  • Pay attention to all details of patient orders and documentation (manifests and receipts) provided
  • Complete vehicle inspection report upon inspecting vehicle before departure each trip
  • Gather electronic devices, gas card and petty cash assigned by dispatch and load materials into assigned vehicle with your partner
  • Sign in on platforms before exiting the facility to begin Onfleet patient tracking
  • Verify identity (photo ID or medical card) once arriving to a patients place of delivery
  • Document a photo of their photo ID or medical card on their Onfleet file
  • Exchange and verify payment with the patient
  • Request the patient sign and date the manifest once payment has been received
  • Finalize the patients order, confirming order is correct, before departing to the next patients location
  • Passenger: enroute to the facility, you are responsible for checking the MMUR to ensure your daily patient orders have been marked accordingly along with closing out any orders as necessary and all tasks were marked completed in Onfleet.
  • Return to the facility; park the vehicle in the designated area(s)
  • Drop your secured cash bag with manifests and receipts rolled up inside cash bag in the safe
  • Return the electronic devices and coolers/freezer in the designed area as advised by management
  • Return car keys to the security team
  • Actively check your Flowery email and teams chat for any communications
  • Complete trainings as released by their due dates
  • Contact dispatch or customer service for any issues that may arise during the route
  • Maintain a clean and operational vehicle; report to your lead should you need anything
  • Maintain a positive level of professionalism with your co-pilot, other team members and patients.
  • Delivery experience is preferred (from any industry)
  • Timely, responsible and reliable
  • It is important to note that these shifts may vary from 6-12 hours. 
  • You will be scheduled 1-3 days each week; which will include part-time hours. You will be assigned a vehicle and partner. Other tools include a gas card, petty cash, phone & tablet to fulfill the role. Our team asks that your schedule is flexible and open.
  • Must have an active, valid, driver's license.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job (sit, stand, kneel, bend, etc.) for extended periods of time.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

Starting wage: $16.00 per hour. The Flowery offers benefits, paid time off accruals and paid holidays to all full-time employees.

Due to the nature of this position, the company will request a photo of your driver's license and run a Motor Vehicle Report. DUIs, suspensions, moving violations or at-fault accidents may deem you ineligible for this position.
