We are hiring Level 1 Help Desk Support Analyst - hybrid - onsite 1 day week for a Contract position in Elk Grove Village, IL
Overview:
Seeking a reliable and approachable Level 1 Help Desk Support professional to provide day-to-day technical assistance to our internal team. This role primarily supports a blue-collar workforce, so strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset are key. You ll be the go-to resource for basic IT support, helping employees stay productive with their technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 1 help desk support for end users across the organization
• Assist with Microsoft-related support (O365, Outlook, Teams, basic setup and troubleshooting)
• Support device setup, configuration, and onboarding for new employees
• Respond to and resolve basic technical issues (password resets, connectivity issues, software questions, etc.)
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
• Deliver clear, easy-to-understand guidance to non-technical users
• Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions
Qualifications:
• 1 3 years of experience in a Help Desk or IT Support role in manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and Windows environments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable supporting a non-technical, hands-on workforce
• Ability to troubleshoot and think critically in real time
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Work Environment:
• Flexible start time with an 8-hour workday (must conclude no later than 4:30 PM)
• Hybrid schedule with 1 day per week onsite in Elk Grove Village, IL
