Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel
  • Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer and monitor patient responses to medications
  • Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel
  • Utilize nursing process effectively, maintaining accurate patient records
  • Provide documentation of patient assessments throughout Hospital admission
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the role of charge nurse and Computerized Nursing Informatics
  • Participate in unit staff meetings and mandatory programs
  • Adhere to safety, blood/body fluid policies, and procedures
  • Assess personal learning development needs and maintain professional development documentation
  • Represent the hospital in maintaining confidentiality and marketing services provided
Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel
  • Outpatient experience required
  • Travel experience required
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate required
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam
  • Demonstrated skills in the education and counseling of oncology patients
