Job description

About this role:

As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provideobstetric and gynecology care in the clinic, act as attending provider for deliveries in the hospital, first assist in the OR, and conductpostpartum inpatient and outpatient care.

Practice Location: Womens Health Specialists, St. George, UT

Team Structure: Join a newly established midwifery division alongside three other experienced CNMs

Community Demand: Immediate opportunity to build a robust patient panelstrong local need for midwifery and gynecology services

Practice Model: A unique blend of established infrastructure and fresh opportunitystep into a respected clinic in a new capacity

Support System: Manage your own panel with collaborative support from three OB/GYN physicians and an inpatient OB hospitalist team

Clinic Schedule:OpenMonday through Friday rotating to accommodate call coverage

Call Coverage: On-call approximatelyone fourth of every month, mixed weekdays and weekends,during which youll manage deliveries for your team

What youll bring:

  • CNM degree from an accredited program
  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
  • At least 3 years experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife new grads will not be accepted
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
  • We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
