Overview

Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services' company, is looking for an experienced Part-Time, On-Call Photographer/Videographer IV to provide Visual Information Services support in Fort Knox, Kentucky. The role will be called into action as work orders are issued.

Responsibilities
  • Provide motion and or still photography on location using various camera processes and techniques, and use setting and background to produce esthetics, as well as accurate and informative video productions/photography in a project-based role either temporary and/or part-time.  
  • Coordinate with and respond to customer requests for video and photographic support employing available resources and subordinate photographers to complete scheduled assignments.
  • Edit new or stock footage into finished programs including the use of music, narrations, and graphics. 
  • Provide media services such as audio-visual support.
  • Provide streaming services both in studio, auditorium and on-location environments
  • Operate several different professional video camera models and formats in ENG, EFP, and studio configuration setups. 
  • Must have the ability to travel, work alone or as part of a team. 
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in the related field of video production.
  • Four years' experience in a production house or news/video environment.
  • Five to six years' experience in all phases of photography/video production.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Successfully complete a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries), a minimum-level U.S. government background investigation. 
  • Bachelor's degree in video production, communications, or related field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Experience with basic lighting techniques.
  • Experience with video/photo formats and cloud filing.
  • Experience in a customer interface and interpreting customer requirements.
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere or other Nonlinear Editing (NLE) system.
  • Advanced lighting skills preferred.
  • Scriptwriting preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud or other NLE preferred.
  • Full familiarity Mac OSX and digital video and photography files preferred,
