Job description


StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Post-Acute Care Medical Director for a leading national physician services organization in a SNF setting in Prescott, AZ.

Position Highlights:
  • Serve as SNF Medical Director per CMS F-Tag 841 requirements
  • Provide physician oversight: clinical leadership, policy review, attending coverage assurance
  • Chair Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) committee
  • Oversee infection prevention, antibiotic stewardship, and CMS / state survey readiness
  • Recruit, mentor, and supervise attending physicians and APPs
  • Maintain a clinical attending caseload in addition to leadership duties
Qualifications:
  • BC in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
  • Prior SNF / long-term care experience required
  • CMD (Certified Medical Director, AMDA) credential preferred or willingness to obtain within 24 months
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership, committee experience, and regulatory familiarity
  • Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
  • Board Certification: yes
