AMG Specialty Hospital -Zachary is a FullTime Charge Nurse/Clinical Supervisor, (RN) with ICU, 2 yearsLTAC or Step-down experience for Night Shifts. The Charge Nursesupervises the patient care activities performed by other RNs, LPN/LVNs, andCNAs. Communicate with Physicians/CCO/staff, as appropriate aboutchanges in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studiesand symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes incondition or response to treatment. Responsible for fostering a positive milieuin the hospital. Keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations that may placefacility at risk. Provides direct patient care as required based on staffingand patient acuity.

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure unencumbered.
  • Acute care, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Detailed computer knowledge.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and human relation skills.
