Job description

Our Dermatology Lab located in Clinton Township, Michigan is currently looking for a ROC (relief on-call) Dermatopathologist to assist in our pathology lab. The days/hours for this position would be on an on-call basis to cover for our Full Time Dermatopathologists vacations or other leave of absence.Requirement: MD or DO American board certified in dermatology and pathology. Experience signing out dermatopathology specimens is preferred, but dermatopathologists coming out of fellowship will still be considered. Provide accurate and timely diagnosis of the presence and stage of disease from a tissue specimen, utilizing appropriate laboratory procedures. Confers with other physicians as needed; Provides advice to referring physicians regarding the clinical significance of laboratory findings; Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information concerning patients, physicians, employees, clients, vendors, and the Company; Complies with all State, Federal, professional regulations Utilizing assessments from Providers to better inform diagnoses Preparing reports detailing their analysis and conclusions Collaborating with fellow Dermatopathologists to provide second opinions when needed
