Join a busy outpatient rheumatology practice in Kennewick, WA (Tri-Cities region) providing full-time, clinical-only care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; no on-call responsibilities. Start ASAP — ongoing coverage to supplement existing services.

Practice details

  • Patient population: Adults and geriatrics; average volume ~18 patients/day (consults and follow-ups).
  • Clinical focus: Rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, vasculitis, and other autoimmune conditions.
  • Required procedures: diagnostic/therapeutic taps, arthrocentesis, joint and soft-tissue injections.
  • EMR: Epic. Support staff includes office staff and clinical personnel; hospital privileges required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care: evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Perform arthrocentesis and joint/soft-tissue injections; order and interpret labs, imaging, and DXA scans.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including DMARDs, biologics, and multimodal symptom management.
  • Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members, primary care physicians, and specialists.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Rheumatology.
  • Washington medical license or participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
  • BLS certification.
