Job description

As a Medical Case Resolution Manager (LPN) at Hale Law, you'll bring your clinical background into a role unlike traditional nursing - one that blends medical knowledge with client communication, negotiation, and technology to help injured clients achieve the best possible outcomes. Based in our Sarasota office, you'll serve as a trusted resource for clients from treatment through resolution: building relationships, keeping them engaged in appropriate medical care, reviewing AI-generated medical summaries and records for accuracy, and assisting attorneys and case managers in negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters.

We're looking for an LPN in good standing with excellent communication skills, strong persuasion and negotiation abilities, and comfort using technology, including AI tools. Experience in personal injury, nurse case management, insurance claims, or consultative/medical sales is a plus. This is the human side of healthcare with a direct impact on the people you serve: full-time and on-site in Sarasota, with a Monday–Friday schedule (no nights, weekends, or on-call) and competitive compensation and benefits.

Benefits:

  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
Compensation:

$23 - $27 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Build trusting client relationships, serving as their resource throughout the case and communicating proactively about treatment progress, medical concerns, and case status
  • Help clients follow their providers' recommendations, identifying and resolving barriers to completing appropriate care
  • Review AI-generated medical summaries, timelines, and analyses, applying clinical judgment to ensure accurate, meaningful information
  • Analyze medical records to identify key injuries, treatment patterns, and damages, and flag missing records or gaps that affect the claim
  • Assist in negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters, using medical knowledge and persuasive communication to convey clients' injuries and their impact
  • Collaborate with attorneys and case managers on resolution strategies and help improve the firm's AI workflows

Qualifications:
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport
  • Confident in having difficult conversations and overcoming objections, with strong persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of results
  • Comfortable learning and using technology, including AI tools
  • Experience in personal injury or workers' compensation, nurse case management, insurance claims, medical device or pharmaceutical sales, consultative sales, client relationship management, settlement negotiation, or healthcare practice management preferred
  • Sales or consultative experience is highly valued for the ability to build trust quickly, communicate value, and influence positive outcomes
