Job description

Seeking full-time Maintenance Engineer for our Fort Stockton, Texas Location.
  • All shifts available
  • Monday-Friday w/ rotational weekends
  • On-call availability for emergency service preferred

Cormint Data Systems is seeking qualified maintenance engineers in the Fort Stockton, Texas area to support a unique data center hosting environment. The responsibilities of this role include production machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
Applicants should possess a love for technology and a wide range of mechanical and electrical skills. General electrical and mechanical knowledge are a requirement of this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
  • Providing emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment and performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
  • Install, maintain, inspect and troubleshoot the repair of standard plumbing systems
  • Preparing and setting up machinery for scheduled production runs
  • Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules
  • Performing other mechanical and electrical duties as assigned

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Two or more years of related experience in plant maintenance
  • Ability to operate shop equipment including welder, drill press, lathe, mill, press brake, shear, and band saws

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years experience with electrical and mechanical production-line maintenance

General Physical Requirements for Data Center Operations
  • Ability to walk extensive distances and negotiate uneven terrain when necessary
  • Ability to work in noisy environments with variable temperatures
  • Ability to operate hand tools and equipment
  • Ability to reach and stretch to position equipment and fixtures
  • Ability to manipulate small wires and switchers
  • Ability to apply muscular force to equipment and fixtures
  • Ability to push or pull heavy objects into position
  • Ability to manually lift up to 50 pounds
